Position Description:

Requirements:

Field Assistance Service (FAS) Program Location: Maxwell AFB – Gunter Annex, Montgomery AL Must have an ACTIVE Secret-Level clearance Overview 3 Squared Technology Group is seeking a highly qualified Help Desk Technicians to join our dynamic team on the Field Assistance Service (FAS) Program in Montgomery, AL. The FAS team is responsible for providing 24/7/365 Help Desk Support for the Air Force and Department of Defense. 3 Squared Technology Group will utilize the following posting to collect resumes to fill a myriad of different positions within the FAS Team.  These positions will include Team Leads, Shift Leads, Trainers, Technicians and Managers.  FAS Team members will be expected to work to support 24-hour operations including day, swing and mid shift work schedules. Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, or training or work experience.
• 2-4 Years of telephone customer service or help desk experience.
• Familiar with Ticketing Software (i.e. Remedy).
• Experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting network, desktop and/or systems hardware and software.
• Excellent communication, business analytical and problem-solving/trouble shooting skills.
• Effective Customer Service and management skills/capabilities; including a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally (internally) and/or externally.
• Strong English language skills (both written and verbal).
• Willing to work overtime, holidays and weekends when necessary.
• Must be a US Citizen, and currently possess an ACTIVE Secret-Level clearance and ability to maintain such clearance.

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide help desk support for all supported applications via phone/email.
• Serve as the initial contact for reporting technical issues and answering questions regarding field user issues.
• Accurately diagnose client technical issues; gather the necessary information; and perform standard, preliminary research using all relevant available resources.
• Effectively implement the steps found in available resources by following the instructions to resolve field user issues. Escalate unresolved issues to Team Leads.
• Clearly and thoroughly document requests for assistance in ticket management system, and track incidents through to resolution/escalation (per client guidelines).
• Identify potential outages and other problems (via information gathering, ticket trends, etc.) and communicate the information to Team Leads in a timely manner.
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
• Provide guidance and work mentorship to less-experienced technicians.

Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Title: Cybersecurity Analyst  Location: Maxwell AFB, Gunter Annex, Montgomery, AL  Job Summary: The Cybersecurity Analyst will support the operation and maintenance of enterprise-level Air Force aircraft communications, equipment maintenance, and training simulation systems. The applicant will perform technical cybersecurity activities including vulnerability scanning and Security Technical Information Guidelines (STIG) validation. Responsibilities:

• Serves as cybersecurity technical advisor to the Program Manager and Technical Lead
• Prepares detailed reports and other documentation used to communicate and remediate system and network vulnerabilities
• Conducts vulnerability analysis to validate system compliance with established STIGs
• Tracks, verifies, and validates STIG compliance and vulnerability resolutions and mitigations
• Reviews all technical change proposals to determine security relevance
• Participants in technical interchange meetings, design sessions, and unit testing efforts
• Helps foster a collaborative, team-based environment, sharing standard methodologies, and building positive relationships

Required Abilities/Experience:

• 5+ years related technical cybersecurity experience including STIG validation and vulnerability scanning
• Experience with DoD and Air Force cybersecurity policy and practices and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards
• Experience with or training in Checkmarx Static Application Security Testing (CxSAST)
• Experience or knowledge of networks, system components, system protocols, COTS technology, and software development
• Self-driven with the ability to manage workload without direct supervision
• Ability to anticipate potential problems and act to minimize their impact

The applicant will maintain the integrity, security, and availability and ensure the highest level of system performance for multiple databases to include locally hosted, cloud-hosted, and cloud-based versions. Responsibilities:

• Maintains the integrity, security, and availability of multiple databases including performing disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, index maintenance, and data monitoring
• Develops data migration plans to transition databases into cloud-based environments
• Develops full life-cycle management plans for cloud-based databases
• Performs database migration activities to include base-line data assessments, data replication and migration, data and data structure testing
• Prepares detailed reports and other documentation on database status and technical support and migration efforts
• Creates risk migration plans for database management and migration efforts
• Reviews technical change proposals to determine effects on integrity and security of database
