This is professional full life cycle development work that includes Planning, Analysis, Design, Development, Integration & Testing, Implementation, and Operations & Maintenance, and documentation for the Department Intranet/Internet sites. Must comply with and enforce software licensing agreements. Candidate will work closely with other developers in a small team environment to support and maintain Microsoft Visual Studio projects written in Visual Basic and C Sharp. Existing Projects include: Web Forms and MVC web sites, ASMX & WebApi Web Services, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, SQL Server Stored Procedures, SQL Server SSRS Reports, Bootstrap and jQuery. In addition to ongoing operational support, development, and maintenance, candidates will be assisting existing staff with de-engineering and re-envisioning databases and applications to be ported into a custom object-oriented component and data-driven framework written in C Sharp using written standards and closely tied to the ADO.Net data access technology using ANSII SQL and Grape City Active Reports reporting software for output reports.

Skills Required:

Education Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, with a focus on programming. Experience may be substituted for degree on a year-to-year basis.
