JOB DESCRIPTION AND ADDITIONAL DETAILS: 

Position Description • Primary point of contact for Ivalua functional application support issues; help desk role

• Assist in maintaining the application to the established organization standards and procedures and perform as a subject matter expert

• Perform as help desk lead to resolve issues and coordinate team activities

• Enter calls/issues into a tracking application Diagnoses and resolves problems using documented procedures and checklists in the performance of most responsibilities.

• Act as help desk support to troubleshoot and answer Ivalua platform/functionality questions as a Level 2 Technical support

• Resolve, escalate and track customer service tickets through to resolution

• Good communication skills

• Experience with coordinating with multiple people/groups to coordinate activities

• Troubleshoot defects with end users and Ivalua – report/ log major incidents on extranet and co-ordinate with Ivalua maintenance team to ensure timely response to incidents

• Administer Ivalua application including:

o Maintaining master/reference/configuration data including organizational model, commodity structure, unit of measures, currencies etc.

o Creation/upload of new users, assignment of user profiles, passwords, blocking/deleting users

o Facilitate access for new developers/testers

o Modify notifications and creating broadcast messages as applicable

o Development of new security roles, user profiles, permissions/authorizations, policies

o Design and configure process workflows incorporating approvals and alerts

o Develop/modify ad-hoc and standard system reports and deliverables

o Configuration activities and coordinating new system requirements and/or configuration changes in the application

o Coordinate punch out and catalog updates

o Assist end users with Ivalua user training and orientation for generic system functions and issues

Skills Required • At least 5 years of experience as an application/system administrator with strong business acumen

• In Depth knowledge of Ivalua P2P solution, experience of implementing P2P systems, including experience with: o Release Management and system controls with applications o Defect Testing, Tracking and Management, Test Planning & Management o Supplier enablement/on-boarding (preferred experience)

• Strong knowledge of and experience with SQL and programming and markup languages (XML, JavaScript etc.)

• Familiarity with database concepts, data models, data analysis, ETL development

• Must be familiar with application programming interfaces

• Proficient with MS Office Word and Excel – Demonstrated ability to produce and edit documentation: (e.g. wireframes/ mockups/ prototypes/ report design etc.)

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amount of information with attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to take initiative, prioritize duties, problem solve, work independently and within a team environment, pay close attention to detail, meet deadlines, do appropriate follow-up

• Preferred experience with change management strategies and end user training

Skills Preferred Knowledge of Ivalua Procurement application Knowledge of CGI Advantage application Experience with support or configuring ERP style applications
Education  Required One year of credit from an accredited* college or technical school in the field of Information Systems

• Two (2) years of experience in troubleshooting and installing Business and/or Government applications software and/or hardware. Years of experience can substitute for college.

Additional Information -Onsite in Montgomery, AL. No remote work would be considered.
